Claire's Comments:
(Please note: this version of the book is several years old -- it is still
extremely valuable, but I've added a link to the updated (Photoshop 5) version
below).
Photoshop is not all about creating cool web buttons and baubles, doncha know?
This book is definitely not a beginner's book, but an absolute
must have for anyone doing a great deal of work
with photographs. And, given the worth of pictures over words,
here are two images of one photo. The before is the best possible
scan of a perfectly dreadful quality photo. The second picture is what I was able to accomplish
(yes, starting with that awful scan) with the knowledge gained from Mr. Margulis' book.
Enough said?
The book does not come with a CD.
WARNING:
This book is not
a basic introduction to Photoshop and
assumes a working knowledge of Photoshop. For a basic introduction
